Mont-de-Marsan (LFBM) - 2010 MIL

According to Deltareflex some kind of excersise is taking place at Mont-de-Marsan. My French is not that good, but I could understand the words; "Israeli", "KC-707" and "F-15".

Seems like they are having a good time down south! Would like to hear more about that though....or better, see some pics!

According Google translate I understand that their was a KC-707 supporting a F-15 that came for live-lifering to benefit air-to-air responce against SCUD-liked S-300 missiles. The 707 landed on Mont-de-M landed (stayed 2 hours) while they are on transit to NE-France.

At Deltareflex it is stated :
2010-10-11Mo Israeli KC-707 visited Mont de Marsan for two hours.
2010-10-12Tu F-15 together with M-2000D overflew Mont de Marsan.

Exercise AIREX 2010 is held in the northeastern part of France next week. ( Oct 18 till Oct 23 ).

In that case I wonder why the F-15 & 707 were all the way in the Southwest. Could be they are not related at all to this exercise, but on some sort of trials at Mont-de-Marsan? Seen some shots today from Nancy, but nothing out of the ordinary over there.

Hopefully time will tell!
