Heeresflieger, Luftwaffe exchange helicopters in the future

According to a German general, the Heeresflieger will loose their CH-53's. These will be taken over by the Luftwaffe. In exchange, the Luftwaffe will give up their NH90's. The NH90's will be taken up by the Heeresflieger.

It is not sure yet if this will be the end of Bentlage. Decisions are expected early 2011.

The Bundeswehr refers to the whole of the German armed forces.

I suspect you mean the Heeresflieger (army) will be taking over NH90s from the Luftwaffe?.
