PRAGUE - A Czech military official says an air force training plane has
crashed following an engine malfunction.

The two crew members ejected to safety and escaped uninjured.

Army spokeswoman Jana Ruzickova says the Czech-made L-39 plane crashed
Thursday near the village of Biskupice,

about 180 kilometres (110 miles)
southeast of Prague during a flight from its nearby base in Namest nad
Oslavou.

The location of the crash is located about 20 kilometres (13 miles) from a
nuclear power plant in Dukovany.

Another L-39 crashed because of an engine malfunction in July.
