The Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP), and the Public Affairs Office of the Spanish Air Force are organizing a spotter's day on February the 8th (*), in order to offer professional and amateur photographers, who love aviation, the opportunity to see and take pictures of all the combat aircraft that are taking part in the first course of the year (TLP 2011-1).
(*) If for any reason the TLP aerial operations have to be cancelled the 8th (i.e. due to adverse weather conditions), the spotter's day would be moved to 9 th February.
Those photographers wishing to attend must send an email to The Fighter Community

Does anyone know what the format for this spotters day is going to be?
Will we have access to the ramps? Can we stand beside the runway when the aircraft are launching / recovering and if so will we be on the south side of the runway?
That doesn't sound good. I also contacted Alejandro about the spotters day and he said that they are still working on the details of the spotters day. Will have to wait and see I suppose.
"At last we have the plan and the timetable for the TLP´s spotter´s day that is going to be held on February the 8th(*). Just let me comment you a few important things:
-You will have to pay 5 euros to the TLP stuff before entering the base, there won’t be change available, so please have it ready (the money isn’t anything new at all, but I forgot to include it in the announcement, apologise me for the inconvenience).
-It is recommended to bring earplugs to protect your ears from the jet noise.
-Please, don´t forget bringing your id card or your passport.
TIMETABLE:
11:00. Check in at the main gate of the Base.
11:30-12:45. A bus will take us to the MURF (the TLP recreative facilities) to eat something. We will eat at the same restaurant where the TLP pilots will lunch later. The prices are 7 euros each for a menu.
12:45. We Hill go by bus to the TLP HC, where we will receive a safety and informative briefing. Alter the briefing we Hill have the chance to visit a Mirage F-1 inside a shelter, and to see all the TLP planes in their parking. We are trying to coordinate a Mirage F-1 air show display rehearsal while we are visiting the “static display”, but it isn´t confirmed yet.
14:30. We will go to the south part of the runway to see the take off and landings of the fighters that will took part in the TLP mission for the day. After the landings we will be conducted to the exit.
TLP and Albacete Air Base stuff are working hard to provide us with a very entertaining day, and I’m sure we will have if we cooperate with them."
