Gyrocopter Aviation Museum - Midden Zeeland

Post by r.e.hendriks »

Hi,

Next month I will be in the area of Midden Zeeland Airport. At this airport a museum can be found, The Gyrocopter Aviation Museum. Can anyone tell what former military aircraft can be found at the museum?

Looking forward to your answers.

Best regards Rob.

I visited this very small 'museum' last week.

T7748 is almost a frame only
MM54-2389 is gone for some time.
R-131 is under restoration
R-161 is airworthy

Outside a Fokker S-11 is dumped, marked as E-42.
Is one never flew for the RNLAF, and is actually PH-UET

------------

B-193 AT-16DN is still present at the Camping Duinrand in Burgh Haamstede.

Best regards Rob.

Visited the museum today.

T7748 >> was this the green frame near the Citroëns?
MM54-2389 >> are you sure this one is gone, in the hangar was also a bare metal frame....
R-131 >> is still under restoration, no registration is carried
R-161 is airworthy

were is teh S11 dumped? I've not seen it, can it be seen from outside?

Someone for the questions, and has someone recent photographs of the frames?

best regards,
Arno Cornelissen
