Stucked landig gear...

Yesterday i saw this 737, departing from schiphol (Aalsmeerbaan) with a stucked left landig gear. I don't what happened after it went out of my sight (must be a return to Schiphol if you ask me), but maybe somebody else has some more information on this? besides that, what are the procedures when an airplane is confronted with a situation like this? like to know it.....

I think the checklist includes to recycle the gear under several conditions/restrictions, often it will help.

De PH-BTB is zo ver ik kan zien op 9 februari niet teruggekeerd naar Schiphol. Alle vluchten van de BTB zijn op 9 februari min of meer op tijde vertrokken naar hun bestemmingen

All flights executed by PH-BTB during daytime on the 9th arrived at their destination before schedule.
If it was a landing gear malfunction, which I doubt, the problem was solved by recycling the gear.

Thanks Rob and Bennie...

If you doubt this was a mail function, then what else could this have been? the left gear just didn't get in, and i followed it as long as visial range made possible...
