Tragically the RAF Northolt Station Commander,Group Captain Tom Barret,RAF,44, was killed in a road accident on the trunk road,the A40 which runs along the entire southern boundary of RAF Northolt at 17.05 on Thursday,10th March.
Along with many of the recent Station Commanders at Northolt,Group Captain Barret has done much to promote aviation events at RAF Northolt.
Many who read these reports and visit Northolt on a regular basis will be saddened by this news and will want to extend their condolonces to the family of Group Captain Barret.
