Hi Dino,

I really like the fly shots! Did you shoot these pictures handheld or with a tri- or monopod? I got myself my first macro lens a few months ago but have hardly practised yet. However with the few shots I took, I found it very difficult to keep it steady enough for a good focus.

Yup these fly's are taken with tripod as it is difficult to keep in focus with "my" macro settings.
in just a little movement you are out of focus...
But with some luck you can shoot some without a tripod (flowers)... :D

Hi Dino,

Some nice additions, these flower shots. Indeed flower shots can be easier; I shot some frozen leafs and berries this winter but just a little breath of wind can ruin the picture. Not too mention your own movement when trying to stand perfectly still!
