During the harbor tour last September I saw this instructional F/A-18 on the USS Ronal Reagan (CVN-76) with another instructional F/A-18 on the USS John C. Stennis (background) which both were in dock.
Anyone with more info on any of these two?
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers,

The F-18 with the black / red fins was still on board the Reagan in late January. All I noted was the code 76 on the fin . Regarding the other F-18's on base in September, my listing posted in early Feb may help ?

Rwy 18/helispot "rwy 12" was used for most take offs and all rotary wing recoveries (a lot of them!) were on (or near) 18/36, except the 2 Seahawks above and the SeaKnight which made a practice IFR approach on 29, lucky me! The Missouri ANG Herc was smoking around a bit with its cargo ramp down, funny. Also seen (taking off 18) were among others a 89AW Gulfstream and USN P-3. And the local USCG HH-60 flying around the bay.

On the 23rd of May I have a visit to HSL-43, "the Battlecats", what resulted in catching many based aircraft. Again, only the aircraft that flew are written down, except for the 23rd, which present a full log of every aircraft noted.

During this holiday, many more Hornets were seeb but not read off (this holiday was not only about aircraft), while also some Colorado ANG F-16's missed identification on the 23rd, while filling in some paperwork for my basevisit. If anyone has a BuNo for Wildcat52 (WC-52), I am happy to receive that one
