In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Hi...

Not much activity on the slopes today, as a matter of fact, as far as I know there was no activity at all!
Only thing that was nice to see was a line-up of 4 Apaches, fully loaded with external fuel tanks and all.
It's not much of a picture, due to a lot of heatwaves, but this is what it looked like...

Not much going on at Gilze indeed.
The 4 Apaches with their external tanks mounted is a very rare sight. Later, there were six of them with the last two not having mounted tanks.
According to another spotter, the A-292 finally wend to the slopes when we were all at 28 again. :)
The highlight of the day was a PC7 doing TG's and stayed very low and then climbing steep when reaching 28.

Sometimes you're are lucky other times you don't have anything on the slopes. I was there only 2 hours in the afternoon but not much activity. Next time more luck I hope. Only the classics where passing and posing :)

Very nice catch of the Beechcraft and the Stinson.
Must have been long after I left!
I really love those old classic piston engined aircraft...

I would be surprised if that's true... I've been almost the whole day at the slopes untill 1600hrs and only a short time at 28 but I did not see a single helicopter at the slopes. The A-292 only did a few passes over the slopes but but remained high though.

@Zipper Tks, I was there form 13.30 till 16.30 the first oldtimer was posing at 13.45 the last at around 16.15

A-292 went to slopes North!!! not the usual slopes though...

Sorry to ask I have my scanner only a short time, before I always listen to the bell. I also hear it on the scanner form the North slopes.
What area is the north slopes :?:

Hi...

There has been some conversation about the "slopes north" among spotters and photographers at EHGR and I am afraid that, if they are going to use these slopes more and more in the future, taking pictures at the original slopes will be history too. Slopes North seem to be "not reachable for the publc", I am told...

Slopes north is behind de Chinook hangars, indeed out of sight.
I hope the original slopes remain in use and that the extra slope is used for spreading the noise.
