Today Phantom and I planned to visit Geilenkirchen. Once we arrived at geilenkirchen around 8.45 we thought it was quiet maybe too guiet, around 9.30 we still hadn't seen or heard anything no firetrucks no apu's so we decided to go to Spangdahlem instead. Phantom never been there and I only once without seeing any A-10's. We were hoping that we didn't drove all the way to ETAD finding out that nothing was flying. When we drove near ETAD we saw all ready a A-10 playing at the airfield so we were releaved but still a little bit afraid that the afternoon would stay quiet. fortunately this wouldn't be the case and we saw a lot of flying especially A-10's

Here is a log from what we saw flying somewhere around 11.45 until 17.45

A-10C
81-0988
81-0976

81-0966

81-0980 Fitted with large central fuel tank so probably this one returned from Aviano?
81-0965 Fitted with large central fuel tank so probably this one returned from Aviano?
82-0646 Fitted with large central fuel tank so probably this one returned from Aviano?
82-0656 Fitted with large central fuel tank so probably this one returned from Aviano?
82-0650

F-16CJ
91-0351
91-0366

C-5M
83-1285 arrived around 12.00

C-17
03-3115 arr. before we did
04-4128 arr. before we did

Didn't see it myself but a fellow dutch spotter who was already there told me that this plane arrived before we arrived and that it was on the platform. He also said that it had a Mcchord tail band. I didn't checked the platform myself so maybe he missed read it and are you right.

04-4128 is not Mc Chord but MC Guire 305AMW (blue)
maybe it made a quick stop after Ramstein at Spang? and dept 13:20?

03-3124 is also not a winner because its from 437AW (Charleston)

02-1108 should still be there (arrived on 01-05-11) and this one is a MC CHord!!
the unknown dep is also a mystery
