Among the stunning backdrop of the Julian Alps and a gorgeous sunny day, on the little "Nino Pittini" airport in Rivoli Osoppo (Udine/Friuli Venezia Giulia Region) in north east Italy is held on the second day of the International Gathering Vintage Gliders which saw the participation of several crews of various nationalities with their gliders, all real rarities as the two wonderful Kranich II and IIB (HB-475 / PH-103) the first two-seater glider was designed by Hans Jakob, built in Germany in 1944 and later moved to Switzerland after the war while the second part of the first peer and 'registered in Sweden.
High "pieces" are certainly the rare Moswey III "Donald" HB-485, single-seat glider made of wood and canvas, and the construction of which 'began in 1948 and ended after a few years and the very rare French Fauvel AV22S F-CAGL.
