After a week working in Montana I had a spare day before flying back to the UK so I took a drive in search of a few preserved aircraft. Here is what I found:-
In Lyons Park, Great Falls is this preserved F-102A Delta Dagger 56-1105
Guarding the gate to the airport at Great Falls is their weather vane F-86A Sabre 47-0637 which wears '2637'
There are 4 Gate Guards at the ANG base at Great Falls including this F-89A Scorpion 53-2547
Along with F-106A Delta Dart 59-0069 which is marked with '72492'
T-33A Shooting Star 52-9672
F-16A Fighting Falcon 79-0290
At Helena Regional Airport they have UH-1M 64-14101 at the entrance to the airport
The Fire School at Helena has A-7D Corsair 70-1040/OH
And finally it was nice to see EC-121T Super Constellation 52-3417 on the ramp. Apparently this was owned by the Helena Technical College but it is being prepared for a flight to a new museum.
