Ansbach-Katterbach (ETEB) - 2011 MIL

Dear all,

Seen during our summer holidays through Germany, Austria and Italy were the following aircraft. Most visits were brief and serial spotting only. Serials wich are underlined were not actually read.

A brief stop enroute Austria/Italy, revealed the following.

These were the only helicopters that could be read because of the high cornfields surrounding the base. At least 40 Blackhawks were parked on the aprons, including some brandnew MedEvac UH/HH-60M’s (parked near the Chinooks). Are those based here?

Also nearby Illesheim was visited, but we found no good spot for viewing/reading.
