NASA Retiring Gulfstream II Shuttle Training Aircraft

With the end of the US Space Shuttle programme, NASA is retiring the Gulfstream II aircraft that were used for training of Shuttle pilots.

NASA 944, one of four Gulfstream II Shuttle Training Aircraft, arrived at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center from the Johnson Space Center in Houston on August 19 in preparation for its retirement and eventual static display.
