Is er iets bekend over de Market Garden herdenking, en of het transport weer vanaf Eindhoven verzorgd wordt ?

In ieder geval zou de BBMF Dakota vanaf Eindhoven naar Arnhem vliegen. En twee van hun Spitfires vliegen op zaterdag vanaf EHEH voor de Luchtmachtdagen naar Leeuwarden. Ze komen op vrijdag aan uit Sion (en de fighters maken daarbij een tussenlanding op St. Dizier).

Not exactly, but EWAS reports that flying will commence late in the morning on Saturday. With probably a second wave somewhere in the afternoon.

1 x C-160 White C/S
4 x C-130J RS
1 x C-47

And the instructional aircraft are tucked away in the corner of the ramp, probably to clear the hangar for the paratroopers

I think the RAF Herc will arrive early Saturday morning. Like last year.

Weather predictions are bad, but still, have fun!

De vier Amerikanen en de Duitser zijn weer vertrokken voor een 3e drop.

De 'NAF 25' is inmiddels ook terug uit Leeuwarden.

De 'Navy 750 formation' (3x Lynx Royal Navy) daarnet door de ctr van Leeuwarden naar Leopoldsburg.

De 'BAF 495' daarnet ook in de ctr, maar dan in tegengestelde richting.
