Last Lot 9 Raptor Rolls Off the Line

Lockheed Martin announced on September 23 that it has completed production of the final Lot 9 F-22A Raptor.

Seen here on September 14 while still on the Lockheed Martin production line in Marietta, Georgia, is the final Lot 9 F-22A Raptor, 09-4191, already carrying the 'FF' tailcode of the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.

Lockheed MartinLockheed Martin announced on September 23 that it had recently completed production of the final Lot 9 F-22A Raptor at its manufacturing site in Marietta, Georgia.

The aircraft, 09-4191, is now on the Marietta flight line for flight testing. It will eventually be delivered to the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.

This leaves just four Lot 10 Raptors to come off the production line before production of the type finally comes to an end. All four are scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
