Police and emergency services have responded to a plane crash at a fair in the Manning Great Lakes area.
Just after 10am (Saturday 1 October 2011), police and emergency services responded to reports that a small plane had crashed into a ferris wheel at a fair at Old Bar.
The ultra-light Cheetah S200 is currently stuck in the ferris wheel. The pilot and passenger were not injured in the crash.
Two children, a boy and girl, were on the ferris wheel at the time. They have not been injured.
Police from Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command are at the location and have secured the area.
Police and emergency services are working to safely remove the children from the ferris wheel and the occupants from the plane.
Motorists are also advised to delay their travel or avoid the area.
