Avianova Bankrupt?

It appears that Russian carrier Avianova has ceased operations, as ticket sales have been suspended, flights have been cancelled, and they have not responded to inquiries by Sheremetovo airport whether they would be continuing operations.
Additionally, management personnel are claiming that the shareholders will be forced to place the airline into bankruptcy.

The airline currently operates 6 A320s from its Sheremetovo base.

According to The Moscow Times, general director Konstantin Teterin told journalists Avianova will fly until sunday.

On Oct. 9 the airline will suspend all activities.
