A very tragic accident in Nepal (18oct2011) when Pilatus Britten-Normena BN-2T Turbine Islander RAN-49 (c/n 2191) of the Nepal Army Air Wing crashed and caught fire when performing an ambulance flight.
Sadly all six occupants didn't survive.
The aircraft was well known in The Netherlands when it was in use with Dutch Police (Dienst Luchtvaart van het Korps Rijkspolitie) from december 1988 until january 2003 as PH-RPN.
