http://twitpic.com/7qh2vc . Yes, that's NATO-grey

This aircraft, Boeing 757 Combi OO-TFA ( ex OH-AFK) , is planned to arrive @ Liege, having left Amsterdam somewhat earlier.

Boeing 757 OO-TFA will depart from ST Aerospace Singapore, routing through Dubai (or Sjarjah?) and then onwards to Amsterdam for a rather short stop. Then onwards to Belgium.

She is to be officially operational for NATO from the 1st of January 2012, replacing the retired Boeing 707 TCA's...

"Herinnert U zich deze nog..?":

Voor degenen onder ons met een wat korter geheugen: ooit (van 2002-2004) was dit de PH-AHS van Air Holland (met een leaseperiode aan Air Scotland ertussendoor)...

 Excusez-moi, s'il vous plâit... what I meant to say was that this airframe used to be PH-AHS of Air Holland between 2002 and 2004 (including a short lease to Air Scotland)

Apparently OO-TFA is now delayed for a few weeks...

This 757 should be wholly grey with no titles, logos whatsoever except its' registration... :(

OO-TFA is parked at the platform which is situated behind a big wall made of sand and covered with grass and some small planted trees. (For the Dutch readers: grote zandwal begroeid met gras en boompjes) at the Chaussée de Hannut which is the street at the Bierset side of the airport.
There is a small roundabout, we parked the car in the street there and we climbed the wall. You can see the airport now and just in front of you to your left the new NATO B757 is parked.
In the Scramble airfield guide this is near spot 4. There is a big hole for water created there as well, it changed quite a bit since the last helidays there.

Happy hunting,

Per
