Beriev overhauls Tu-95MS

Beriev Aircraft Company has delivered Tu-95MS aircraft (tail number 62) after an overhaul, performed in Taganrog, to the Russian long-range aviation on December 27th. Tu-95MS has successfully performed flight to its base in Engels after passing all the necessary tests, the company reports.
The long-range anti-submarine warfare Tu-142M3 aircraft (tail number 56) has been delivered to the Russian navy earlier after being overhauled at the enterprise.
Thus, Beriev Aircraft Company has completely fulfilled its production program for 2011 by delivering Tu-95MS. It has delivered eight different aircraft to the customers this year, including two Be-200ChS amphibians (“Ivan Shamanov” and “Petr Streletsky”) intended for EMERCOM of Russia, the company noted

On 5 December 2011 the company delivered IN312 back to the Indian Navy. This was the final Indian Tu-142 receiving a major overhaul.
