Spanair ceases all ops as of midnight??

According airliners.net Spanair collapsed and is shutting down as of midnight. Somebody more on this sad story.

According to Dutch teletext, the airline ceased operations as of 02.00 lt this morning, grounding its fleet of approximately 35 Airbusses and MD 80's and leaving 2.500 unemployed, mostly in the Barcelona area. Sad news from the south...
