The U.S Army is upgrading the OH-58D to the new OH-58F which include new sensors and other equipment,the first 3 are in a hangar at a little airport in North Alabama,off Redstone Arsenal,the plan is to upgrade 360+.The contract is expected to take 18 months and budget is 32 Million,most of which will be spent in North Alabama because of Redstone and the other Defense Contractors already here.
The first 3 are supposed to be the prototype models ready by the end of 2012.
