Looks like the Red Arrows fly whit a 7 Hawk formation instead of 9 Hawks this year.

kirsty did good, i feel for her. she made the right choice for herself too. tbh i dont think the reds will be around much longer, not in the hawk T1 anyhow.the raf should maybe have a new display team in typhoons.

I think he meant it more like "a pity"...
I'm sure he did.
The Reds will probably only fly with 7 Hawks during the 2012 season as there's not enough time left to train extra pilots.
On http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-li ... e-17249660 an MOD spokesman says the Reds will return to 9 jets in 2013.
