Looking for Relics in Guangzhou

Post by van Teil »

I'm trying to find the 5 planes which were stored at the old Guangzhou airport (CAN), google earth shows them at 23°10'38.81"N 113°15'48.38"E on the older image from 28-3-2010, but on the latest image they are gone, on the web they are still listed as part out in this place, i walked around in the area but couldn't find anything.

Somebody got some news where they went to? Thanks in advance

You can download a spreadsheet with the fates from a lot of classic jets here:

In the Trident section you will find some info about where the Chinese Tridents are now.

Thanks for your suggestion, the new caac training center seems to be far away from the city center near the new airport, ill check it out someday.
