Joint Warrior inside and out..

Post by Macc »

Well on the Wednesday, RAF Lossiemouth laid on an enthusiasts day that will remain in my memory for a long time. Excellent access to all the visiting aircraft and then a chance to capture some of the locals too! Can't fault the day at all, as it was absolutely brilliant!

It was great to catch up with so many people and meet plenty more too! Without my Dad, Niall and Graeme I wouldn't have caught any of this so thanks for the lifts! Also, thanks to everyone for the great banter! What a superb day.

First up, a trip to the 3 US Navy P-3Cs and Canadian CP-140.

It was nice to catch a quick line shot of XV(R)sqn.

Then it was off to see the Atlantique on VASS.

Then a visit to the gate guard.

After lunch, the weather had gone very stormy and it was off to the P-8A. Enjoyed a lovely chat with some of the very enthusiastic crew members!

It was then outside the fence, and the arrival of another HH-60G and the departure of the other two as Jolly 41 flight.

Then after deciding it was time for home, me and Graeme were told that one of the P-3s was starting and decided to stay on a bit, we were rewarded with a Canadian and an American departing and also an American arriving and performing four circuits, all in fantastic light!

Hello Macc, a great set of photo's you made. I like the line-up photo of Tornado's very much. The detail views are great too. Funny is the Orion with code 318A. Is there a 318B in the inventory as well. Further the CP-140 in the end has beautifull evening light. As you mentioned a super day.

Guys, many thanks to everyone for their compliments. The wide angle for me gives a chance to create even more different angles but I am very aware that it is not for everyone and can accept that!

One more to add, an edit of number 15.
