Good evening,
today there was a rehearsal for the Bastille Day fly pass at Chateaudun. According to some sources this years fly pass will consist of 54 aircraft, and 30 choppers. Does anybody know from which airbases they will operate?
TIA

The most detailed formation info I've read was "54 avions et 30 helicopteres". No info on types. The photos from Chateaudun today show a C-135, an E-3, a few Mirage 2000s and a C-130. So that's all I know.

With Panoravia's basevisit in Creil last week we heard that for this fly-past some helis (and maybe light aircraft) fly from here.
Creils unit practiced june 22nd when we were there with 3 CN235s.
Also july 9th will be a rehearsall.

Previous years:
Creil - ALAT helicopters
Evreux - AdlA fighters & trainers
Le Bourget - AN helicopters
Villacoublay - AdlA, SC & GN helicopters
Home base - transport / AN fighters / MPA & AEW etc.
Good to know, Villacoublay is closed for fixed wing aircraft due runway constructions.
(VIP Falcon fleet currently operates from Orly, TBM from Toussus, A.330 from Evreux).
Don't forget, after the defile some helicopters will land at Les Invalides for static display.

What about the Tour Montparnasse? Is that accessible, and if so, will it be crowded or not?
regards
