Indonesian AF Super Tucanos

The Tentera Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara(Indonesian Air Force) received the first four of sixteen Embraer Super Tucanos at the maunfacturer's plant at Sao Jose dos Campos on the 6th August.

These four airplanes are due to arrive in Indonesia on 2nd Spetember.A further tranche of four airplanes are due for delivery by the end of 2012.

If(as seems likely) these airplanes are air delivered,they should pass through Europe.

Would anyone care to elaborate on their routing on their(assumed) delivery flight?.

The base for these Super Tucanos will be Malang.

These airplanes are on delivery and departed Athens on Sunday and arrived at Doha late on the same day.

On the 23rd,as shown on a link on this site,they transitted Gando AB.

Bangkok Don Muang seems to be a likely stop later in the week.

All 4 of these have departed Doha by 07.00 on the 28th to their next stop,Muscat.

The next 4 of these airplanes are due for delivery before the end of 2012.

Any sightings of these airplanes on delivery would be appreciated.

Recefe,Gando,Athens,Doha and Don Muang/U-Tapao are likely stops for this delivery flight.
