Mode S / SBS and radio logs, airfield specific, are allowed, but always state your source, mode S / SBS or air traffic conversations. These logs can be placed in the "day topic" so a separate Mode S / SBS radio log is not necessary |
Unfortunaly outside the base the german police or the Feldjäger has the last word and not the basesecurity.....Paveway wrote:Unfortunate action of the German Polizei (again).
I do not know what happened in your case, but I believe in case they only see one (or a few) picture(s) of the base infrastructure/buildings, they want you to delete all the pictures.
Normally landing shots are not really a problem.
Unfortunately, that's true!Robert wrote:Unfortunaly outside the base the german police or the Feldjäger has the last word and not the basesecurity.....
It was base security and not the German Polizei.Paveway wrote:Unfortunate action of the German Polizei (again).
So, I hope that the last seven months of A10 spotting at Spangdahlem, there are no new problems like this.I would like to apologize for you having to delete your photos of our A-10s
and F-16s during your recent visit to the Eifel. I have forwarded your
concerns to our security forces squadron, who may be able to provide some
insight into the situation. If we receive any further information from
them, we will be sure to forward it on.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience while you were visiting our base.
Base security has no jurisdiction outside the fence... ask them to call the German Police. Really!!Gerbrand wrote:It was base security and not the German Polizei.Paveway wrote:Unfortunate action of the German Polizei (again).
Yes, but there was a scanner in my car, so I didn't like a confrontation with German polizei!Base security has no jurisdiction outside the fence... ask them to call the German Police. Really!!
Correct, but the base security has the right to retain (not to arrest) people within a certain perimeter around the base.Stefan wrote:Base security has no jurisdiction outside the fence... ask them to call the German Police.
