Hi, i am at spang for the first time today. I'm wondering where this hill is at the north side. I have followed the airfield guide and walked through the Forrest area. Now I'm at the landing lights, which are on an elevated part, but is that the hill that is described in the guide?

Yes it is....

If you have the base on your left side and the approach on your right side, you're there..... depending on the sun (if there is any) you can stay east or west of the approach path.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks a lot Oscar! Actually there wasn't a lot of activities going on. I left around noon and went to Buchel instead.
