Very original photography Wim, I like it!
PS: I have some fond memories of Koksijde, spending lots of time at the fence during my family holidays in '88 en '89! In those days Koksijde was frequently visited by Belgian Mirages, Magisters, Merlins, Mystère 20's, Hercs, HS.748's, F-16's, Alpha Jets, Alouette II's etc.etc. Not to mention the numerous types of helicopters from different NATO countries making stops before or after crossing the Channel... But also Royal Navy Sea Heron, RAF Chipmunks and Bulldogs, Portugese SA.330, Danish T-17 etc etc. There was never a dull day: Canadian Hornets doing approaches, German CH-53's making fuelstops, the Swedish 5-ship contingent to Middle Wallop flying low overhead in formation, instructional TF/F-104G's doing engine run-ups with all the howling and smoking you wanted. And I was alone at the fence the whole time, not another soul in sight...just me and my Russian-built Scramble-monocular, my notebook and my ballpen...
...jaaa the memories....
