Swedish parlament decide for 40-60 Gripen E

Swedish Svenska Dagbladet (Swedish Daily News) announced today (2012.11.11) that the Swedish Parlament order 40-60 Gripen E. (It must be Gripen E and F (Tutivillus)). Votes 264 against 19 (18 lay down).

Total cost including operation is expected 90 billions SEK to 2042.

One reason for the decision is the Russian defence investments.

Confirms that the decision only concerns the Gripen E version.

One other point is to buy an air defence system.
