Good afternoon,

Noted Thursday morning, the 11th of July (08.20/12.00)
44+69 JBG33 grey T09.55 L11.25
45+94 JBG33 green T09.55 L11.25
45+17 JBG33 grey T10.05 L11.40
45+57 JBG33 grey T10.05 L11.40
A fifth one left at 09.45hr, but didn't return.
An unknown HEER Bo105 arrived at 10.25, and departed 11.25hr.

All spotting was done from the south side, best reachable from the village of Gevenich taking the Ackerweg.
Very relaxed spotting along the centerline can be carried out from this spot.
Furthermore from this spot optional walking towards the fence and gate nr4 can be done, rewarding itself a nice view
of the airfield (as far as I know the only spot providing as such).

Please noted Tuesday the 2nd, Thursday the 4th and Thursday the 11th
a Tornado was noted flying around 7PM. So you might conclude these days have a third (evening) wave.....

regards,
Remco

Expect a C- or RC-12 around 0900LT. The C-12 is currently on its way to Eindhoven for an approach, and then picking up IFR clearance to Büchel. Callsign 'Argus 86'. No tailnumber known yet.

Good luck,

Stephan

It's an RC-12, visually confirmed, on its way to Büchel at FL150 now, via MILGI. Expect it a little later than 0900LT.

Edit: Tail 30701. Thanks Perry!

Good evening,

One question: after checking my pictures I saw the 45+19 wears an orange badge at the engine intake,
at the right hand side of the aircraft. Does anyone know this badge ? Maybe from the Mazar-i-Shariff
detachement ?

Remco
