Jetman coming to EAA Airventure Oshkosh 2013 ?
EAA has confirmed that it is talking with ‘Jetman’ Yves Rossy to perform at Oshkosh AirVenture 2013.
Talks, that will include Rossy’s sponsor Breitling, are under way but the performance is far from a sure thing.
“Our people have talked with him and his group. Nothing is confirmed,” EAA spokesman Dick Knapinski wrote in a comment.
Among the considerations is FAA approval, which is likely to be a little more complicated than the nod the agency gave to Rossy’s flight over the Grand Canyon last May 2012

Though he’s widely regarded as a daredevil, at last year’s EBACE show in Geneva, Switzerland, Rossy explained at a cocktail party why he does not launch from the ground.
“It is certainly possible to launch from a moving car,” he said.
“But if I lost power before reaching [a few hundred feet], I would be dead.”
Looking around among the crowd and pointing out his very attractive spouse, he added, “You’ve seen my wife?
I can assure you I want to live!”
