Two Su-27SM from Central Uglovaya airbase, Vladivostok, crossed the Japanese border at Hokkaido Island today, according Japan Defence Department. Japan Self Defence Forces answered to scramble against the intruding fighters. It is the first Russian intruding of Japan border since 2008. Japan politicians are to since earlier planned visit Moscow later in February.
