Eric,
The "to be" Afghan C-27s are not from Kabul Air Wing. They even were not delivered to Afghanistan.

Hi gents,

In this thread at least 9 Ansbach Black Hawks were on temp. duty at Lod/Ben Gurion during the visit of Obama.
http://forum.scramble.nl/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=93891

Saw on several pictures on Facebook another serial, ''145'' outline in white which makes 89-26145...
kind regards,

Maurits

Hi Maurits,

Only 8 Ansbach UH-60L's were loaded in C-17's from Ramstein to Ben Gurion. And 145 is not a Ansbach bird when i'm correct (it's even a US Army Europe helo), but maybe a new one??

And take-off today from Ramstein were UH-60L's 95-26643, 96-26676, 96-26690

Cheers,
Eric

Which of course is Napoli/Capodichino, the location where Alenia has been fitting out the C-27s destined for Afghanistan.

Just wonder what will happen to these four aircraft? Waiting for more to arrive and then onto the US or ....
On which ramp are these C-27s parked?
