I decided to go to Lisbon for the weekend on my last spotting trip of the year since the TAP widebodies were still a big void in my logs and a TAAG biggie here and there wouldn't hurt either (I do hope they never change that awesome livery!
). An expected temperature of 15 degrees, clear blue skies and TAP not wanting too much for their tickets helped making the decision
After landing I checked what I could read from the terminal and then headed straight for the threshold of runway 03 and spent the rest of the day there. Here's what I saw from 8:30LT on 30 november:

At 17:20LT I decided to head for my hotel and a nice hot meal since it was getting dark and not much more was expected.
As it turned out my hotel was directly under the approach to runway 03 and I awoke to the distinctive sound of 2 GE90's passing overhead. So TAAG was on time today
At about 7:50LT I exited the Metro station near the spot next to the 03 threshold. I was pleasantly surprised by yet another distinctive sound...Allison turboprops! The Hercules departed at 7:55LT and I arrived at my spot at 8:00LT...I knew I shouldn't have had that extra chocolate bread at breakfast!
I didn't have much time to feel bad about good food since I saw the silhouette of a B777 on approach...which was weird since TAAG was already in and Emirates wasn't expected until noon. Euro Atlantic's bird maybe? It turned out to be the Air France flight from Santiago to Paris. Apparently it needed some extra fuel. I had completely forgotten about the Herky...well, almost completely anyway

So a lot of the same stuff as yesterday, fortunately still with a few new ones for me. The only non-movement in the list is the CS-TQU which came in on an STP Airways flight the evening before after darkness had fallen. I got on my flight home at 19:30LT with 13 of the 16 TAP widebodies in my books and even a hint of a tan!
