Russian to base fighters in Byelorussia

According to Russian defence minister Shoigu (former EMERCON) is to Russia to base fighters in Byelorussia. Before decision is the fighters to base on Byelo Air Force Base

Russia is also to base four S-300 regiments or equip Byelian units with the SAMs. Byelorussia already have the S-300. Always it means a strengthening of the SAM defence.

Maybee as an answer to the US Patriots and F-16s in Poland?

Russia responds to US with airbase in Belarus.

Moscow has announced its attention to establish a military base on territory of neighboring Belarus. This could be very well be a respons to US plans to deploy a defence shield in Europe.
