Italians come to air policing

Keeping NATO airspace around Iceland resumed Monday 10 June. with the arrival of aircraft at the Italian Air Force. Will total about 150 members of the Italian Air Force participate in the project and they come to the country with six F-2000 fighters, fuel-B767 and C130 cargo supplies. It can be assumed that the product approach exercises airports in Akureyri and possibly Egilsstadir 12 to 14. June.
The project is in line with NATO air policing plan for Iceland and it is expected that the project will be carried out by the same method as before and in accordance with agreements in force, completed in early July.
