Hahnweide 6-8 September 2013, (flying) participants...

Post by Stratofreighter »

Main site: http://www.oldtimer-hahnweide.de/

Participants, with the latest added above:
http://www.wolf-hirth.de/ott13/teilnehmer.php?order=id

Please note: "S" stands for SOLOVORFLUG :!: , i.e. flying...
"F"=Formationsflug
C=Corso=static.
R=Rundfluge

So, all those warbirds marked with an "S" will certainly not stay on the grass field during this event...

More and more (heavy!) piston props keep being added to the participants' list at
http://www.wolf-hirth.de/ott13/teilnehmer.php?order=id

The F+W C-3605 Schlepp doesn't have pistons any more, but 1,100 hp of turboprop power is good enough for a lively "Soloflug" air display.

Fouga Magister formation flying?

The Nord Noratlas transport cannot land on Hahnweide's grass strip itself, but the Polikarpov Po-2 can, as well as the Yak 3-UM and of course the Alouette 2.

A Lockheed P-38 Lightning isn't that often seen operating from a grass runway.
