Mode S / SBS and radio logs, airfield specific, are allowed, but always state your source, mode S / SBS or air traffic conversations. These logs can be placed in the "day topic" so a separate Mode S / SBS radio log is not necessary |

I noticed 08-5715 left early in the morning (mode-s log) so this one should be swapped by 08-3176 I suppose....
The 4 early Dyess all passed through Prestwick on route ETARjreijmer wrote:Your Hercs are the following. C-130J 08-5679 and 08-5715 both of 317th AG/40th AS. They arrived in August in support of AFRICOM detachment. Another 3 passed through on Thursday very early morning which continued on Friday to the east. This morning another four arrived. I heard them pass very early this morning. Unfortunately cloudy and still to dark. I noticed them depart yesterday at St. Johns similar timing as the 3 that passed through last Thursday. The ones of this morning by means of SBS:
C-130J-30 08-3176 317th AG RCH111
C-130J-30 08-5685 317th AG RCH802
C-130J-30 08-5686 317th AG RCH930
C-130J-30 08-5691 317th AG RCH936
http://www.dyess.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123360185 has the article with the information on the first two that are there already for a number of weeks. I initially thought the four that arrived today will continue tomorrow, but you say the 3176 was at the 37th AS ramp. That's where the others for the AFRICOM detachment are also parked always (most righthand parking positions when looking from the Kindsbach Hill). I wouldn't be surprised if these would also stay in support of AFRICOM.
Another 317AG bird is underway from St. Johns, so might be another one for tomorrow. It's the 08-3179 c/s RCH933.
Also earlier departing St. Johns were two AFRC Hercs: 87-9284 as RCH927 and 88-4404 as RCH926. Could be these pop-in also, but last couple of days some other also didn't stop at Ramstein but made a fuelstop at Mildenhall to continue on to the east.

Jeroen
