How did the helicopter looked like? (radar, lumps/humps and bumps seen) as normally all RNLAF helicopters where their code on the nose.Hilco wrote: At Agusta Westland:
NH90 no serial AGUSTA-WESTLAND RNLAF MARKINGS
The NH90 made a testflight and I didn't see any registration at all on this Helo, If somebody can help me with the ID of this NH90 that is much appreciated.
The NH-90's don't have a code on thier nose afaik.Hurricane wrote: How did the helicopter looked like? (radar, lumps/humps and bumps seen) as normally all RNLAF helicopters where their code on the nose.
There were indeed lumps/humps and bumps there, mostly under the nose. No code worn on the nose, nor on the tail only a Dutch roundel on the fuselage...Hurricane wrote:How did the helicopter looked like? Check, in November N-277 is expected so that would be a logical choice however I'll get back on this one. As there have been reports about this frame with marking applied (other option might be N-088 however that one is also wearing markings and newer frames are going to become TNFH = without radar lumps under the forward fuselage)Hilco wrote:There were indeed lumps/humps and bumps there, mostly under the nose. Underneath the cockpit entry? three digits from the serial applied on both sides, without the N (looks like a code to me and that still nose section in my book)Rockville wrote:The NH-90's don't have a code on thier nose afaik.
Roger that. A difference in interpretation.Hurricane wrote:Underneath the cockpit entry? three digits from the serial applied on both sides, without the N (looks like a code to me and that still nose section in my book)
N-277 is expected for delivery in November so that could be possible.Arjan wrote:Nice one Hilco! Unfortunetaly they can still fly with the Italian test registration in an early stage.
Maybe the N-277?
