ETNG OH ANG tankers

Post by Worldnis »

On 23AUG a new ANG tanker deployment started at Geilenkirchen. Aircraft from the 121 ARW, OH ANG (Rickenbacker):
62-3531 flew on 24 as Esso75
64-14840 flew on 24 and 25 as Esso76, 26 as Esso75

Back-to-back with IA ANG, good to see these movements again.

Could someone please remind me how long these deployments last? Is that two weeks or longer? And while I'm asking, in the past the whole deployment schedule was known, but now I can't find any info on that. Is it known when the next one will be?
(I will be in the area soon, and hope to catch some tankers then....)

EDIT: to answer the first part of my own question, 64-14840 just took off and is probably on the way home. Talk about timing...
