Spottersday Hohn 23 september

Hi All,
I contacted yesterday the PAO at Hohn to ask if the spottersday at the 23th september is still on.
As long as the government does not change the current measures, it is good and it can continue.
But keep an eye on government announcements .

As far as the spotters package is concerned, the packages are not sent home due to the too high costs, they are handed out on the day itself.
The costs, that are too high are at the expense of the charities to be supported and that cannot be the intention. They want to apologize for this.

And what can be expected? By then they only have some five or so C-160s still operational. Is it for the C-160 Good-bye?

I think I read somewhere the event was fully booked right away, from the moment that was possible some time ago. I can't find that info anymore but specifically the locals - logically - managed to book, it was said. It is the C-160 fly-out if I'm not mistaken and indeed, it is very unfortunate that quite a few of them have left already in the past weeks...

I'm pretty sure they try to make it an nice day.
Off coure the C-160 in special color will be highlighted but there will be a couple off visitors as well.

Next week I will give some further infos about the 23.9., when plans are fixed.

Perhaps better than on the base it could be at the fence - sun in the back.

any update on the spottersday for next week ? have not seen any reply or detail from the organisation yet....

Entrance will be possible at 8.00h, flying will start at 9.00h with some 20 Jets, Props and Helis should arrive.

You will stand in the north of the participants ramp.

Leaving the spotter place will possible after 15.30h and not during the day.

Unfortunately the weather forecast will be quite bad.

The participants ramp is that the big ramp at the east side or more to the GFD part of the field?
