Why they not do this on the spottersday ? This makes the feeling about a disappointing spottersday even bigger.

Where you cross the path over the taxiway there is a toilet and behind it a hall with thick iron gates. This gate was slightly open and there is an F-16 inside. It is probably the FA38
Much better: this is FA25 with the tail of FA38. My last Belgian F-16 :multi:
I checked and photographed it today (with permission). Many thanks for the heads-up!!

Support aircraft today were:
CC-2 CN.295M TukiLLv
T-785 Falcon 900EX no mks (LTDB)
0481 C.295MW no mks (242 tsl)

All aircraft that were hidden on Saturday were visible today (FN Rafales 32 and 44, FAF Rafales 132, 133 and 324, Italian F-2000s MM7310, 7343, 7349 and 7352, Greek F-16s 009, 029, 538 and Swiss F-5 J-3082) plus the Belgian Tiger Viper. Also all choppers were backk at KeeBee (Czech W-3, Mi-171 and Mi-35, Germand and Belgian NH.90, Belgian A.109).

A great day today, which compensated for Saturday in my opinion. Only downside was the Italians and the Belgian Tiger didn't use the taxiway in front of the public. And the French really don't understand the concept of photographers along a runway, but you can't blame the organisation for that....
Cheers,

In the hangar (with blue doors) opposite the Patrouille Suisse flightline also an F-16 was seen. No ID though

This was FA-126 in overhaul. I read that through the rh hangar entrance door.

It was a good day all together!
Funny to see that the speaker wasn't really up to par with the quality of the planes

One small question if I may for the spotters on the far end of the crowdline: did anyone log the Belgian F-16 that had a ground abort and did not take off with the other three of Tiger Flight?

The speaker did not have the recognition skills most spotters (seem to) have; further to that he was not being actively informed by the better informed about movements relating to the XTM…

I was told by a well informed Belgian source that the aircraft on the far side didn’t have permission from the higher echelon to participate in a public event. I think F-16 538 was broken as it was at the flightline earlier (hence the visit of the C-130 on saturday). I too was a little bit disappointed on Saturday but kudos to the organisation for letting us return today!

Again a great event, many of us needed this after such a long period of silence on the aviation front. #KB-rulez! :respect:
