De Kooy in Den-Helder is one of the most active helicopter airfields in the Netherlands. The Main operator of the maritime airbase is the Koninklijke Marine which has a squadron of NH90 NFH helicopters based at this station. Also the Den-Helder Airport is intensively used for the offshore business. Helicopters are flying daily to and from the oil rigs at sea to Den-Helder.
