TAV-8B WP-33 is 163857. This was photographed at Yuma on January 28. One more AV-8 was caught in takeoff, but on slide film...will have to wait a while.
Cheers.

Thanks Chris. Extra AV-8s noted on 27 Jan 22:
26/
For what it's worth, the missing Blue Angels were:
2/165540
3/ (hangared)
4/165573 (two 4s)
7/165679
7/ (hangared)
AV-8B /26 is 165566. This and a few others were seen in Amarillo couple days ago.
F/A18 165663 flew as /3 the week before.
Is /4 a typo for 165673, Andy? And with two /7's would that mean they have three F/A-18F's now?

According to the database they have three Fs 165673, 674, 679
Nimitz came in to North Island just a few hours after Vinson on Monday, and left yesterday (Tues). I can only hope that all those Goshawks are headed out here when they are finished in El Centro.
Oh, and some actual El Centro news-- they haven't announced the date, but the T-Birds social media HAS confirmed that they have plans to visit El Centro at some point before the season opens.

All the other TAV-8Bs were coded in the '30's, so seems odd that one would be coded '15' (so supports the mispole theory).
164122/WP-35 was seen at Mesa Gateway the same day as some of the other TAV-8B's at El Centro, so a likely candidate?
