F-1 crash near Luke AFB

Post by tally »

It seems an Atac Mirage F-1 crashed about 30min ago. First reports pilot is OK.

No news agency with this news yet. Was reported on an Arizona Aviation FB page so “must be correct!!!”

Video has surfaced where one can barely make out it was N633AX.

Time will tell as what caused this accident.

Weather doesn't appear to have been a root cause......

Flightradar shows N610AX flight stopped near Gila Band, while N633AX flight stopped 20 miles from at Luke.

The crashsite is near Luke, not Gila Bend, Buckley to be more precise.

A video shows a "desert camo" Mirage F1CR wreck with visible marks N633AX ( see https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/275359 ).
