Loud German Tornado's at Leeuwarden during the WIC

Post by Redskin301 »

In this video mainly a few Tornado's are shown which participated during the WIC at Leeuwarden. Two German Tornado ECR planes are lining up at the runway at Leeuwarden Air Base. The two Tornado's belong to the TLG-51 of the Luftwaffe. One of the aircraft reported a technical issue before take-off and needs to abort the flight. The pilots were able to switch planes quickly as they borrowed a Tornado IDS from TLG-33 for this sortie. Therefore the second aircraft could join the first one quickly during this WIC mission. Enjoy the incredible loud afterburners of these German machines!!!
